Ngotso South / S90 Lion Pride

The Lions killed four of Casper the White lion's brothers

Meet the Lions that killed four of Casper The White Lion’s Brothers. During 2018, Casper the White Lion and eight of his brothers—then four years old—started their nomadic lives around Satara Rest Camp in Kruger National Park after they were kicked out of the Shishangaan Mega Pride into which they were born. Shortly after that, they encountered these three mean lions that originated from the S37 Trichardt Pride, about 40 km south of Satara. During the fight, the S37 males killed four of Casper’s brothers. Casper and the remaining four brothers fled to the Sweni area after the massacre. They roamed that area for about 18 months, during which time the fifth brother also disappeared. In early 2020, the remaining four Brothers Coalition—Casper the White Lion, Mfowethu, Casanova, and Footloose—returned to the Satara area as four strong, healthy Lions ready to take over a pride, which they did—the Satara Pride. Currently, the four Shish brothers are in control of two prides: the Satara Pride and the Nsemani Pride to the west. Maybe soon Casper and Brothers can revenge the deaths of their four brothers when the Shish brothers try to expand their territory further north and destroy the three (S37) Ngotso South / S90 Pride males that killed their brothers in 2018. The South Ngotso/S90 Pride consists of these three pride males, 12 lionesses, and a good-looking sub-adult male—the son of the S37 Lion killers. Notice that one of the killers has lost his right ear.

The large Ngotso South / S90 Lion Pride

Watch the South Ngotso/S90 Lion Pride—strange interaction with Zebra and Wildebeest. The South Ngotso pride consists of one good-looking sub adult male and 12 lionesses. The pride is controlled by the three mean-looking males that originated from the S37, and in July 2018, they were responsible for the killing of four of Casper the White Lion's brothers! This video was filmed on the H1-4 about 5 km north of Satara Rest Camp, very close to the Satara Lion Pride and Casper the White Lion, and Brothers.
