The Trichardt Male Lions have taken over the Shishangaan Lion Pride
Since the Trichardt males have taken over the Shishangaan Lion Pride, they have had some encounters with the Southern Pride males, who killed the first offspring fathered by the Trichardt males, including the new White Lion Cub. After chasing the Southern Males off, the Trichardt males went on and killed the old Shishangaan male called Xihamham. Without any current competition, they have now more time to spend with the Shishangaan Lionesses... until next time.
The Trichardt Males have killed Xihamham
The old Shishangaan male lion, or “Xihamham” as he was known, was killed by the two Trichardt male lions on March 31, 2023. Xihamham, the king, died fighting—an honorable death. His legendary status will live on. Will the remaining Old Shishangaan Male be able to protect his two prides—the Mananga and Mountain Prides—on his own? Or will he also fall victim to the ever-expanding two younger Trichardt males that killed his last brother, Xihamham?
