The largest Lion Pride ever blocking the road
The "Sweni Mega Pride" of lions on the road are all juveniles. I have counted seventeen. There were at least eight adults off the road in the bush. The Pride entertained us for about an hour, and all the lions disappeared in the bush. Filmed at the intersection of the H1-3 and the S126 close to Satara and Sweni Water Hole in Kruger National Park on November 25, 2016.
Shishangaan Male Lions with Satara Lion Pride
Spectacular and best footage ever of the three Shish Males, Brothers of Casper the White Lion, patrolling with the Satara Lion Pride Lionesses and the three young remaining cubs, as well as Zorro, the young Satara Sub adult.(Notice how Zorro runs when he notices the three huge Shish males: Footloose, Casanova and Mfowethu.) Filmed late afternoon in the rain just outside Satara Rest-camp in Kruger National Park, South Africa. But where is Casper? Casper the White Lion is a lazy dreamer and is still stuck with the Nsemani Lion Pride to the west of Satara. Sleeping most of the time!
N'wanetsi Lion Pride blocking the road
Amazing. Filming the N'wanetsi S100 Mega Lion Pride of Kruger National Park walking for miles down the road, followed by tourists. The BEST LION SIGHTING EVER! We have counted more than 15 lions, or even more. Once in a lifetime, lion sighting!
Casper the Whie Lion and his Shishangaan Brothers
The best you will ever get of Casper and Brothers was filmed on the H1-3 south of Satara Rest-camp, just across the N'wanetsi River bridge.
Six male Lions hunt buffalo
Drama, Drama Watch the entire video! Less than 24 hours after killing and devouring a buffalo, the old Mluwati male and his five sons are back at it. This time, it was just instinctual nature. Even though they weren't hungry, they were compelled to hunt when a small buffalo herd approached their domain at the Kumana Dam in South Africa's Kruger National Park. The two Fourways males and the Torchwood male currently control the Mazithi and Leeupan lion prides. But in the last few months, they have been pushing further north, being seen in between the S86 and Kumana dam in Central Kruger National Park on several occasions. It appeared they were expanding their territory. The Kumana lion pride was previously controlled by the two Mluwati male lions. A couple of days ago, we filmed one of the Fourways males in the company of the Kumana pride and with new cubs. It now makes sense why they were spending so much time further north. It will be interesting to see if the three males manage to keep control of all three prides now that they have an even larger territory to patrol. The blonder Mluwati male appears to have disappeared a while back, with no recent sightings of him in the last year. It seemed only a matter of time before the remaining Mluwati male would lose control of the Kumana pride. He has been frequently seen in the last couple months with several of his eight sons, who appear to have left the Kumana pride as well.
The largest traffic jam ever in Kruger Park
This must be the largest traffic jam ever in Kruger National Park, caused by a lion pride feeding on the road. The Park Rangers were called in to remove the buffalo from the road so traffic could flow again. Watch all the drama!
